AKTV manifesto
AKTV is a young London based company dedicated to the development and production of exciting new fiction for film and TV.
My name is Kieran, I am the founding director of AKTV. Seeing scripted TV come into its own over the past 20 years has been amazing. I watched and wrote and worked through the brilliant precursor series of the 90s and 00s. I continued my production work into the ever expanding narrative and thematic pallet available to us in the 10s. Television today is at last an artistic medium on a par with film, literature, or any other.
As a production company, we are seeking to build on the foundations of the first true golden age of TV, which is now in full, glorious bloom. AKTV is committed to developing projects that are worthy of the creative goldmine that is scripted television today. As a company we strive to both create and shape projects that will define the bright future of TV. Drawing on considerable experience working with US, UK and French productions, we are driven by our love and understanding of the most exciting creative medium of the 21st century.

Kieran Clemow
After a bachelors degree in War Studies at King’s College London, Kieran produced shorts between 2000 and 2005 with his company Admiral Films Ltd.
In 2005 he moved to television, where he worked in broadcast news (TF1, France24, Deutsche Welle) and entertainment (BBC, HGTV). He joined SKY’s scripted drama and comedy team in 2013. Armed with this experience, he started his own television production company in 2016.

Franck Leguay
Graduate in Philosophy & History of Art, Franck is a self-taught cartoonist, storyboarder and concept designer.
Since 1995, he has worked on around thirty productions (Xilam Animation, Saban, Télé Image, Millimages, Futurikon, SIP Animation, Marathon Media, Marvel Entertainment, Method Animation, etc.) on many animated series and features (Tupu, The Boy, Cartouche, Iron Man 3D, Kaput and Zösky, A.T.O.M, Malo Korrigan, Yakari, Trolls de Troy, Les Enfants du Feu, Les Petits Cuistots, Les Fils de Rome, Dragon Hunters, Combo Niños, Oliver Twist, The Amazing Spiez!, Witch, Le Parfum de l’Invisible, etc.),
He now brings his extensive experience as art director to AKTV’s projects.

Stéphane Chaput
Following a master’s degree in History at Pantheon-Sorbonne University in Paris, Stéphane worked several years in economics & political science at the French National Center for Scientific Research and for medical publishing.
In 2001, he became assistant director for cinema, television (TF1, Arte, Canal+), advertising (Publicis Group, Havas), music videos, documentary, corporate, and performing arts (musical theatre, circus) on several big productions in France, Morocco and Canada. For three years he was general manager of Xilam Animation Studios in Paris (Space Goofs, Lucky Luke, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Shuriken School, Rahan), where he became familiar with the animation production process.
He is also working as scriptwriter on other projects, including AKTV's new drama series, "The General".
